Where you’ll be staying…

Nestled atop Shandelee Mountain, The Arnold House proudly hosts Canna Bliss in the iconic Catskills region — located just a stone's throw away from the charming town of Livingston Manor, NY.

The allure of the Sullivan Catskills has been drawing in visitors since as far back as the 19th century, making it a legendary vacation destination.

This region breathes an air of nostalgia combined with natural beauty, renowned for staging the original 1969 Woodstock Festival.

It also served as the inspiration for the timeless movie classic, “Dirty Dancing,” a tribute to the Catskill Mountains' Borscht Belt era.

We’re taking over the entire property (with the exception of the Tavern/Restaurant) for the ultimate retreat experience!

The rooms are warm and inviting, and the cozy down duvet bedding and bathrobes make these rooms an easy place to wind down.

The common areas are spacious and welcoming and allow for a little downtime or a great conversation.

Our favorite part — the owners of The Arnold House know hospitality — so we know we’re in great hands.

They believe in happy guests and that hospitality is a gift.

And we couldn’t be more excited than to have them as our hosts for the weekend.

  • Why Cannabis?

Using cannabis can provide a natural way to regulate your body and mind.

Our body's endocannabinoid system is a crucial part of our physiology, supporting vital physical and mental functions such as sleep, mental health, and pain management.

The primary role of this system is to maintain homeostasis, or balance, within the body, which it achieves through a lock-and-key system.

When the body experiences stress, chronic pain, inflammation, or other imbalances, enzymes produce endocannabinoids, which act as keys to connect with the appropriate receptors (or locks).

Since phytocannabinoids, or cannabinoids from plants, can also restore homeostasis, consuming cannabis can have a balancing effect to bring the body and mind back to their intended state of balance.

  • Why JourneyDance™?

JourneyDance™ is a powerful tool for self-exploration, healing, and personal growth.

It’s a movement practice that combines free-form dance, ritual, and guided visualization to create a mind-body-spirit experience.

It was created by Toni Bergins in 1997 and has since become a popular form of movement and self-exploration.

In a JourneyDance™ session, participants are guided through a series of movement exercises encouraging them to let go of self-judgment, connect with their bodies, and explore their emotions through dance.

The dance is not choreographed, and there is no set way to move. The focus is on allowing the body to move in whatever way feels right in the moment.

  • Why Yoga & Yoga Nidra?

Yoga is an ancient practice and holistic approach to well-being.

Yoga promotes strength, flexibility, balance, and inner harmony while reducing stress and improving mental clarity.

Yoga Nidra, "yogic sleep," is a guided meditation that leads you through various body, breath, and awareness techniques.

During this deeply relaxing state, you are able to disconnect from the thinking mind, reconnect to the sensing body, and cultivate positive shifts in your life through intention-setting.

Incorporating both into your wellness routine will benefit your overall physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

You’ll find yourself better equipped to handle life's challenges with balance, resilience, and ease.
